Invoice settings

Change the logo and colour of your invoices to communicate your brand to customers.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙️).

2. Tap Invoice settings.

3. Tap Invoice template to see a preview of your current invoice template.

4. Tap Logo and colour to add, edit or remove a business logo and choose your brand colour. You can tap Preview template to see how it looks.

5. Tap Save when you’re happy.

Change the business or contact details on invoices

The business and contact details that show on your invoices can be changed in your invoice settings.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙️).

2. Tap Invoice settings then Invoice template

3. Tap Contact details and change the details shown on your invoices and reports. You can tap Preview template to see how it looks.

4. Tap Save.

Change the bank details and PayID on invoices

When you created your first invoice in Solo, you added the payment details that are included on your invoices for customers to pay by direct deposit (BSB and account number) or PayID.

You can change these details or remove them from your invoices in invoice settings.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙) in the top right.

2. Tap Invoice settings then Payment settings.

3. Choose the options you want to include on your invoices. To edit the details, tap Edit PayID or Edit direct deposit, enter the details and tap Save.

Change the email address customers reply to on invoices

The reply-to email is where emails are sent when your customers reply to an invoice email. You can change the email address in invoice settings.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙) in the top right.

2. Tap Invoice settings then Invoice emails.

3. Next to Reply-to email, tap the email address or Add.

4. Enter the email address and tap Save.

Change the name that appears on invoice emails

The From name is the name that emails are sent from when you send an invoice email. You can change the name to something more meaningful, like your name or your business name.

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙) in the top right.

2. Tap Invoice settings then Invoice emails.

3. Next to From name, tap the name.

4. Enter the name and tap Save.

Entering prices with or without GST

If you're registered for GST, you can choose how you enter the price of items (GST already included or added on top after). This is reflected in what appears on your invoice too. To change this setting:

1. Go to Money in and tap settings (⚙️).

2. Tap Invoice settings.

3. Tap Tax display and choose:

   • Include GST – the GST is already included in the price, so the customer pays the same amount you enter.

   • Add GST – the app adds on GST to the price you enter, so you only need to enter the price without GST. The invoice will show the total amount, which is made up of the amount you entered plus GST.

4. Tap Save.

If you enter $100 as the price in the app, this is how it looks.
