Attach and send documents
In AccountRight desktop, you can now add files to invoices, quotes and orders in one click. Supporting documents stay organised, audit-ready and securely attached to the right transaction, making it easier to keep everything in one place.
Improved document scanning
Upgraded AI-powered OCR now captures more detail from receipts and bills, delivering cleaner, more accurate data straight into your workflow. With better recognition in both the app and browser, you’ll spend less time on manual entry and more time getting things done.
Get where you're going faster with a refreshed command centre.
AccountRight desktop files now have a cleaner, modernised Command Centre that keeps everything in the same familiar layout, but surfaces key updates, tasks and shortcuts right at the top. Important tools and information are now easier to access, helping you take action faster without digging through menus.
Quicker employee setup
Setting up STP is now faster and more accurate. When you create a new company file, key payroll categories – including Base Hourly, Base Salary, Annual Leave, Personal Leave and Overtime – are automatically assigned their ATO Reporting Category.
Helping you stay compliant with super calculations
When you set up a new type of wage payment, like a new allowance, there's a new option to exclude those payments from super guarantee calculations. To help you choose, there's some handy info – just click the blue question mark.
PAYG withholding at a glance
We’ve added a PAYG withholding widget to your dashboard, giving you a real-time view of how much tax you’ve withheld from pays. It’s an easy, at-a-glance way to stay on top of compliance without going digging in reports.
Employee document storage
Stay organised by storing all your employee documents in one secure spot. Upload contracts, certificates, licences and more into MYOB Business so they’re always easy to access when you’re processing payroll or preparing for an audit. It keeps your records clean, consistent and exactly where you need them.
New workers compensation report
A new report is now available to help you prepare the wage estimates and declarations required by workers compensation providers. It generates the payroll details you need when starting or renewing a policy, and can be found under Reporting > Reports > Payroll.
See jobs in past pay runs
You can now view any jobs assigned to an employee in previous pays, including how their hours or amounts were allocated. It’s an easier way to check past job allocations and keep your payroll records clear and accurate.
Clearer payment instructions
It’s easier than ever for your customers to pay using their preferred payment method, with customer statements now including options like bank deposit, online payments and cheque on their statements.
Control over BPAY options
You can now enable or disable BPAY on recurring invoices with a single click. It’s a quick way to manage your payment options and make sure customers only see the methods you want to offer.
Online payment settings moved
Online payments are one of the quickest ways to get paid, so we’ve bumped the settings to the top of the Payments tab in your Sales settings. Now it’s easier to find, faster to set up and simpler to manage.
Custom sales prefixes
You now have the flexibility to set unique prefixes for each type of sale — invoices, quotes and orders. It means you can override MYOB’s default numbering and follow your own system.
