Access Practice Compliance any time
Open your browser and go to partner.myob.com.
MYOB AE/AO desktop users can also click the cloud icon on the AE/AO toolbar.
Practice Compliance can be used on any device with access to the internet, including your mobile device, but it's meant to be used on your desktop or laptop computer. A larger tablet may be ok, but you might have issues on a smaller touch device, like your phone.
First-time setup
Make sure that you have set up MYOB logins for each of your employees.
For MYOB AE clients only, if you're not using Document Manager with MYOB AE, make sure that you're using the Windows Explorer view for your Clients > Documents tab.

Does my server need to be on to access Practice Compliance?
You can access Practice Compliance if your server is off, but your server needs to be on if you want changes in MYOB AE/AO to sync to Practice Compliance.
If your server is not up and running, you won’t be able to access Practice Compliance through AE/AO, which means you won’t be able to open a client in AE/AO and then go to that client’s online record. Also, any changes you make to a client’s details in AE/AO won't sync to Practice Compliance.
If you use AE/AO, your server needs internet access. This is because Practice Compliance is an online product which reads your desktop AE/AO data directly from your server back in your practice. If your SQL server is separate to your software server, the software server will need internet access because AE/AO is installed on the software server.
But if your server is off, you will still be able to use Practice Compliance on any internet-enabled device with a web browser.
While you can access Practice Compliance from any device's browser by visiting partner.myob.com, Practice Compliance is meant to be used on your desktop or laptop computer. A larger tablet may be ok, but you might have issues on a smaller touch device, like your phone.
If you use MYOB Practice Compliance only

If you use MYOB AE/AO and MYOB Practice Compliance
First-time setup
Open your MYOB AE or MYOB AO software on your desktop.
Click the cloud icon on the toolbar. A message displays letting you know that it may take some time to set up your online data.
Click Yes. The Terms of Use display.
Carefully read through the terms and conditions and then select the I agree with the above terms of use checkbox.
Click OK.
Once your online data has been set up, you'll be directed to Practice Compliance. A Welcome to AO/AE Live window displays.Enter your practice name.
By default, this is your company name as entered in MYOB AE or MYOB AO on your desktop. You would have set this up in Maintenance > Internal > Companies > Company Name. The first name in the list on the Maintenance - Companies page is used. If you would like to use a different practice name, simply edit the existing text.Click Finish.
You'll now have access to Practice Compliance. You'll be logged in as the same user you were logged into MYOB AE or MYOB AO - your desktop version.
