Connect to Tradelink to get their receipts automatically

We've partnered with Tradelink to have their receipts and invoices automatically uploaded to MYOB Business when you purchase from them. Just link your Tradelink account with your MYOB business.

  1. Log in to your Tradelink account.

  2. Click Connect to MYOB. An MYOB window will appear. 

  3. Log in to your MYOB account. Your accounts are now linked and Tradelink receipts will now be automatically uploaded to your MYOB business after each purchase. Learn more about Working with uploaded documents.

What do I need to do when making a Tradelink purchase?

Online

  1. Log in using your account details.

  2. Complete the checkout process.

  3. Tradelink will automatically send your receipt to Uploads in your MYOB Business.

    Your receipt will usually be automatically uploaded to your MYOB Business on the night of your purchase. Learn more about Working with uploaded documents.

In-Store

All purchases made in store through a Tradelink trade account will be recorded in Tradedoor. If the Tradedoor account has been linked to an MYOB account, their receipts will automatically be sent through the MYOB account. 

Your receipt will usually be automatically uploaded to your MYOB Business on the night of your purchase. Learn more about Working with uploaded documents.

Do I have to code every line item?

No. When your Tradelink receipt or invoice arrives in Uploads in MYOB Business, choose Record spend money.

On the Record spend money page, enter or choose the Category to categorise your purchase, based on what you typically purchase. This will automatically fill in the category at line level for this and all future spend money transactions for Tradelink (but you can change the category at line level if needed).

How do I opt out of this service?

  1. Log in to your Tradelink account.

  2. Click Disconnect in the MYOB bar. You'll now be disconnected and Tradelink receipts or bills will no longer be automatically sent to your MYOB account.

Do I have to code every line item?

No. When your Tradelink receipt or invoice arrives in your In Tray, select Create New Spend Money or Link to Existing Spend Money.

In the Spend Money window, type or select the account number to categorise your purchase, selecting the account that best suits your line items (which have been imported from your Tradelink invoice).

Fill in any additional information you require and click Record to complete. Now every future Tradelink purchase will be auto-allocated to the same account number. See example below:
